Our next guest joins Mission CTRL from across the pond, East Yorkshire, England to be precise. Hannah studied at Beverley College, where she earned a degree in childhood education and development. From an early age Hannah developed a passion for art and helping children. In 1999, Hannah left England to head to the U.S. where she became an Au Pair to follow her passion of working with children with special needs. Hannah set her intentions on marrying her two interests, with no business plan or money, she opened her first studio in Shelton, CT. Perry worked as a nanny by day and the director of her Art Studio by night. Hannah has won three Stevie® Awards making The Giggling Pig an award winning Art Studio. In 2017 she was the Gold Winner for Female Entrepreneur of the Year! In 2016 she took home 2 Silver awards — Female Entrepreneur of the Year and Maverick of the Year.
