EP 105: In Rod we trust with Rod Giltaca

from Talk Is Sheep · host Kyle Stelter and Greg Rensmaag

We welcome Rod Giltaca, CEO and Executive Director of the Canadian Coalition of Firearm Rights (CCFR) to the pod. We dive into the recent amendment to Bill C-21 that will directly affect many law-abiding firearm owners across the country. Rod touches on the history of the bill, the journey it has taken that resulted in a prohibition on handgun sales in Canada, and where we are headed with all of this.A very knowledgeable and impassioned individual, Rod does an excellent job of articulating why we need to address this last amendment. The CCFR has been spending a great deal of time pushing back on these amendments and standing up for the legal ownership of firearms in Canada. It is interesting to note that replica firearms and airsoft guns are being prohibited as well. Be sure to listen out on how and why this will likely affect you even if your current firearm is not on the new list. It is more important now than ever before that we reach out to our elected officials and let them know how you feel about the latest amendment to C-21.The Wild Sheep Society of BC is proud to support the CCFR. Be sure to listen in to see how we are doing it.For more information or to join the CCFR visit them at https://firearmrights.ca/
