Thanks for tuning in to the Real Women Chronicles podcast. I am your international certified life coach, T. Audra Taylor. The sole purpose of this podcast is to get you from where you are now to where you want to be.

Yes, it's time to break chains and to get unstuck. Thanks again for joining in. Let's begin. Hello.

Hello. Hello. Thank you guys for joining in to yet again another week of the Real Women Chronicles podcast. If you are joining me for the first time, I go by the name of coach T.

I am your virtual certified life and relationship coach. So guys, last week, I spoke on the topic. I spoke on the topic of getting clear about what you deserve. I really felt like that was an important starting point and leading point to this week's podcast.

This week's podcast, I really want to talk about being true to your authentic self. Because embracing your true authentic self is not something that comes easy for all. I know I struggled with that for many, many years, just trying to conform and be what I felt everybody wanted me to be. And for those of you out there who have lived that type of life and walked in my shoes can truly attest to the fact that it's highly stressful, not living in your authentic truth, not being who God created you to be.

Listen guys, many of us work in environments that force us to be something that we're not. Okay. We even design our social media pages and present ourselves in ways that don't always reflect our true authentic self. And part of that is because we don't want to put out the good and the bad many times on social media in front of thousands of people.

Sometimes we've learned to naturally keep parts of our authentic self hidden. We even get into relationships that force us to suppress who we truly are. Now, just imagine how detrimental it can be to be in a relationship that you cannot be your authentic self in. To be in a relationship that forces you to down who will downplay who God created you to be.

But we do this. I've been there. I'm sure many of you guys have been there. We have all done this before.

We've gotten into situations that just really, really keep us from being who God has created us to be. But see, remember this, when things don't go well in that relationship, when things don't go well at that job that you're pretending to be something other than your authentic self in, remember this, God can't bless who you pretend to be. I've heard that quote a long time ago and it's a really, really true quote. God can never bless who you pretend to be.

You will always hit a certain brick wall because your blessing is a tide to your authentic self. I've worked in corporate America for many, many years and literally wore a hat and many of us call it our professional hat, of course, right? We wear this hat and we become some of us. We believe works for that corporate arena or that job.

We become that. Oftentimes we get upset when we don't get that promotion or we don't get that make that we've been wanting or something like that after we've, you know, became this chameleon and turned into something that's not authentic self. And the reason being is what I just told you, God cannot bless who you pretend to be. How far do you really think you're going to get in life, not being true to who you are?

Your happiness is tied to your true authentic self. Your peace is tied to your true authentic self. Your purpose, your joy, listen, being what others want you to be has never been what God intended for any of us, any of us. Your flaws is what makes you truly unique, your quirkiness and that personality, your drive sense of humor is what really makes you you and that blessing that you have been waiting for.

It may be waiting for you. And what I mean by that is it may be waiting for you to be true to yourself, to be true to your needs, to be true about what you truly deserve and the person that truly deserves it. Is it the person that you present yourself to be or is it the person that God created you to be? Sometimes our blessing is really sitting back and waiting on us depending on what it is.

It's sitting back waiting for us to stop caring about other people's perception and to really, really free yourself and care about what God perceives of you, what he wants of you, what he's called you to be. Listen, how can you ever get to where you need to be, forgetting who you are, forgetting the person that called you to be? How are you going to get there? How are you going to get there?

Listen, I know this message today is not for everybody, but if for those of you out there who are like me, flawed individual and you were just, you were just like I was just struggling to be true to who you are being around people who you feel like you can't be yourself around. Being in environments, work environments where you feel like your true gifts aren't being exposed and brought to light because you have to, for lack of better words, dumb yourself down to appease and make everybody else feel comfortable. If you are like me and you are tired, this message this week is for you. It's time to walk in your true authentic self and stop caring about what other people think about it.

You never want someone to fall in love with a false perception of you. Never. Sure, you know, we all present ourselves, our best selves in the beginning of relationships. But how long are you going to do that before you really realize that there's an authentic self that is going to come out one way or another?

And the sooner, the better, because if you wait too long, you're going to end up with a person who fell in love with a facade, someone who doesn't even know you, someone who you were so bent on getting them to like you that you never really sat back to determine whether you really even like them, truthfully, because you were so busy wanting to be liked. And when we do that, sometimes we stop focusing on the things that we need. And one of those major things that all of us need in relationships is someone who allows us to be who we are, our true authentic selves. Even in the workplace, even in the workplace, I worked so many jobs for so many years that you had to play the game of corporate America to get ahead.

And it became exhausting to have to come home and take that hat off that you had to wear for eight, 10 hours a day, just to be liked by another individual. Imagine how much freer you'll be when you stop caring, when you really just walk in what God wants you to be. Just imagine how much freer you feel. That's all.

Imagine that. And if you feel peace when you imagine that, if you feel confirmation, that's God. That's God telling you to walk in your truth. It's not your true authentic self is waiting for you.

Okay. So that being said, that is my spill for the week. Again, I have a website up the rwcpodcast.com. Remember that you could purchase your breakup to breakthrough journal there on my website for those of you going through relationship issues, going through a breakup.

As we always do Father God, I just thank you for allowing us to come together yet again, another day, another week, Father God, just giving us grace and mercy during these trying times of COVID. We got the cicadas going on. We just thank you for just blessing us with peace and sanity and just the strength to just keep pressing on Father God. We ask that you continue to cover us Lord, continue to protect us and our family Father God continue to guide us Father God God our footsteps and help us to walk into the person that you intended for us to be in the name of Jesus Christ.

I pray. Amen. Listen, until next week, y'all, I love y'all. Good night.
