Ep 106 - 2nd Anniversary Show: Music Store Stories and More

Celebrate two years of Yesshift with us! There are also a couple birthdays this week. With Igor Khoroshev's coming up, we're talking a bit about Piano Works, continuing our "first solo album since joining Yes" series. And for Peter Banks' upcoming birthday, we're highlighting Something's Coming / Beyond and Before: The BBC Recordings, which even came with liner notes written by Banks! (Trevor Horn's birthday is also coming up, but we'll be doing a review of his autobiography on Saturday at noon PDT.) We'll then segue into a discussion of a huge part of music fandom: music stores! Steven acquired a few Yes-related items from Amoeba Music in Hollywood a few weeks ago, and we'll each talk about the experience of collecting in-person via music stores and what interesting finds we've had in the past. Steven will also share highlights from the Jon Anderson Zoom Q&A a few weeks back. And we'll close by looking ahead at what we have coming up!
