from Bring Me 2 Life Podcast · host Bring Me 2 Life Network

Today we have a wonderful guest Amy Pinder to talk about Neurodiversity in honor of autism awareness. She discusses special needs and how she uses holistic wellness including hooping to help her clients. What are some of the biggest misconceptions of people with special needs and what can we do to make the world a better environment for people with disorders? We also get into the festival that Amy is putting together called Inclusion Festival that infuses the art and festival world with an environment for people of all needs. All that and more on the Bring Me 2 Life Podcast!Amy Pinder is a co-founder, owner, and executive director of Inclusion Festival. She is a yogi, hula hooper, arts enthusiast, and speech-language pathologist with over ten years of experience working with individuals with neurodevelopmental differences.  She’s very passionate about infusing the healing aspects of the festival scene into her work to build community and spread loving vibes. She regularly incorporates joyful, regulatory, and play-based movement such as yoga, juggling, and hoop dance into her practice. These activities encourage clients to effectively communicate through meaningful, experienced based activities that promote mindfulness and wellbeing, and encourage appropriate forms of play throughout the lifespan.  She has trained as a Grounded Kids Yoga Instructor, Mindful Educator, and Holistic Circus Therapy Provider, and many other things that we will get into.
