• How much do you think you are worth? • Should you expect a reward for something you should be doing anyway? • Does external rewards play a part in you completing (for example, allowance, financial incentive) What started this convo is E, discussing a convo with his mom over giving his kids an allowance. I chimed in and said it may depend on the child or person. It depends on what will motivate them to do what you are expecting them to do. Everyone has a different thought process but trying to figure out the goal of why we are doing the things we are doing or what we are trying to get from it, is the tricky part.
