Ep. 107 The Revival (feat. Bars)
from The Perspective Podcast Hosted by Mardy Lee
After a quick break, we’re back and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to kick things off. This week we’re joined by Alexandria’s own Bars_Jr as we sit down to discuss his latest project, The Revival. But this wasn’t your typical album interview. We dive into the inspiration behind the project, the sacrifices that come with chasing a dream, and what it means to represent Alexandria, Louisiana through music. From painting vivid pictures of the city we call home to balancing life, creativity, and purpose, this conversation goes far beyond the music. We also reflect on growing up in the church, the importance of storytelling. Throughout the episode, Bars_Jr shares personal experiences, creative insight, and the mindset that’s helped him reach this point in his journey. Sometimes the best conversations just happen. This was one of those episodes. Whether you’re a fan of hip-hop, an aspiring creative, or someone chasing a vision of your own, there’s something in this conversation for you.
