In this SWE Diverse episode, Heather Doty, SWE FY21 President, speaks with SWE Member Cathy Meyn, retired Corporate Director of Programs at Northrop Grumman. Cathy has a passion for mentoring and has mentored college students, peers, and employees from multiple companies, beginning her mentoring path in the fourth grade. During this episode, she helps us better understand the different kinds of mentorship, how to find or become a mentor, and how mentorship benefits both mentor and mentee. She also gives advice on how to maintain a strong mentor/mentee relationship amid the virtual communication shift brought about by COVID-19.
