Ep 1083 - Friday Thoughts
from CrimsonCast Hosted by CrimsonCast
A solo podcast today, as the doctor talks through some items of interest to Indiana athletics. 5 Star recruit Bryson Tucker committed to Indiana men's basketball on Thursday, so there's some talk of that recruitment, the benefits of Tucker's game, and how he might fit into IU's system. Also discussed is IU's system. What are they going to do next year? A lot of it depends on what happens in the next two weeks, and that whole process gets discussed. The Sweet 16 is happening, and on the men's side, an interesting trend has started to emerge regarding offense vs defense. How does IU fit into that paradigm, and how much further do the Hoosiers have to go to compete at the levels we saw on Thursday night? Finally, the IU women have a Sweet 16 matchup of their own this evening as they take on top overall seed South Carolina. Some thoughts on what IU has to do to stay in the game and win it, alongside some perspective on where Indiana has succeeded and struggled so far this season.
