Ep 109: Shequida Hall

“It’s tight, honey…like my face.” On this episode, your hosts Martyr (@dragthemartyr) and Cate (@ctepper) sit down with the legendary Shequida Hall! We discuss her Julliard education and studying opera, her first night in drag that turned into working for the biggest nightlife club at the time - The Roxy, acting on the soap One Life To Live, her experience on America’s Got Talent, and her legacy of the long-running nightlife competition “Drag Wars.” Later, we hear more about “Santa’s Secret,“ NYC’s naughty immersive holiday experience, returning to NYC for a fourth season. Beginning November 29 and running through December 31, 2024, the journey culminates at Santa’s Secret Speakeasy, where Shequida Hall hosts a dazzling variety show featuring ballet, burlesque, aerialists, and jaw-dropping acts. + Tickets for Santa’s Secret can be purchased at: www.SantasSecret.com. + Follow Our Guest: On Instragram: @ShequidaHall ~ tinyurl.com/wiggingoutpodcast This episode is proudly sponsored by MOTTO- the new queer dating app!
