Ep. 11 - American Idiot
from The Tower Record Hosted by The Tower Record
Back in the barrio! Kevin and Sarah talk about the landmark(?) and also good(??) punk rock(?) opera(??) American Idiot, by Green Day, with track by track analysis of the songs as they felt in the context of their era, and the legacy(?) they may or may not have today. Sorry for the later upload; I went to two concerts this week from actually great musicians (Godspeed; Ghost Quartet) and also the world famous dyke march, for a march among the dykes. As an introvert this almost killed me. So then I had to spend most of another day playing Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness and the Secret Hideout on Switch instead of working on this ep. Problem??? (Sincere apologies if so... sincerely) P.S. haven't had the opportunity to post this because I don't have social media so CONGRATULATIONS TO THE NBA CHAMPIONS OKC THUNDER! O! K! C! O! K! C! O! K! C! Recorded May 8, 2025, in Astoria, Queens.
