Ep.11: Growing the game, protecting stars, and more with Kris Versteeg

Kick your week off with a new episode of The DFO Rundown with Jason Gregor and Frank Seravalli! Today on the pod, Frank started things off by ranting about the NHL's current schedule and how he's sick of seeing the same teams over and over again. Should the NHL find a way to keep more rivalry games in the schedule going forward? Or do they need to get back to the old format ASAP? They also touched on the Nikita Kucherov situation before getting to their guest this week, former NHLer Kris Versteeg.   Versteeg brought the heat today on the pod. He started by talking about the comments that he made on Saturday night about Connor McDavid and the NHL's inability to protect its stars. He also talked about what the league needs to do to grow the game more. Versteeg, or 'Ver-Beauty' as he's also known, also talked about his career, his time as a defenseman, playing with Patrick Kane and more!
