Ep 11: Is your personal development obsession causing more damage than good?

from Unleash Your Radiance with Lorina Christine · host Lorina Christine

In this solo episode I break down some reasons that your personal development obsession might actually be causing more damage than good and what to look out for. I am a huge advocate for personal development and it's incredible for our healing. It's changed my life and my client's in incredible ways. There is however a point where we can take it to far and it can actually affect our wellbeing and mindset in a negative way. We I cover: 1. How constantly seeking to improve yourself can become an obsession and actually make you not feel good enough 2. How over consuming content can actually leave you feeling overwhelmed and stuck in analysis paralysis and nothing you learn is sinking in 3. You can actually become to deep into the work you forget to actually enjoy life and feel joy which is also part of healing 4. How it can make you feel like you are forever flawed and constantly need to "fix" yourself 5. How you can actually be giving so much of your power away looking to every coach and course to "fix you" Dive into this juicy yet controversial episode!
