Venson began as a classically trained pianist and student at the Berkeley School of Music. Eventually, she took up the guitar, and developed her approach to her multi-style music with blues as a foundation. In addition to several self-produced recordings and extensive experience touring and performing, Venson also has a prolific output of music videos.
