EP 11 - REPLENISH part 2

from The Wellness Restoration Project · host Shelley Swapp

There’s a Chinese proverb that “If we don't change the direction we're going, we're likely to end up where we are headed.” So where are you headed? Running full steam, on empty, hardly sleeping, maybe eating a bit too much junk or just not enough food in general… its not a huge mystery when we end up run down, exhausted, and struggling to get through the day. So lets talk a little more about what it looks like to really replenish our systems. You and I both know we don’t have control over what life throws at us - I can tell you that from experience that in just one minute, one phone call, one day - everything can change. Our work of caring for the body and spirit and mind isn’t just so we can have a happy day, its so when those hard things come, we have the strength of body and mind to show up for them, get through them and then the understanding and compassion to lean in and do the work of replenishing again and again and again.
