Ep.11 Zan Lawther | SUPPORT

To thousands of people Zan is known as 'The Pink One' from The Lounge Kittens. To me, she's an old friend from the Southampton scene. She's incredible in so many ways. She's hilarious, smart, kind and (this is a huge compliment from me) hyper-organised. We're often texting back and forth whilst we're all over the country to check in. As part of the Kittens she's toured with Steel Panther and Status Quo, put in multiple shifts at multiple Glastonbury and Downloads festivals and the rest etc etc...they've released albums and EPs and LOADS of videos...they've raised so much money for charity...they've created a fanbase of pure love. Away from the stage, Zan works for Kilimanjaro, concert promoters to the stars - she's often wearing a hi-viz vest and TWO walkie-talkies as she works at shows for Ed Sheeran, The Darkness, Hans Zimmer...etc etc. Follow her on Twitter or Instagram.I always look forward to having a curry with her.Soon, the Kittens will come to an end with three last shows in Manchester, London and Southampton at the end of Feb 2020. I'm honoured to be playing the bass for part of these shows.
