Ep.110 12Nights OF POAP ! NIght 1 Gratitude !

from Clocking Out Podcast · host P.R The King Of Hearts

What is Gratitude ? Oxford Language Dictionary defines Gratitude as “the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness.” But what does Gratitude really means? Gratitude is one of many positive emotions. It's about focusing on what's good in our lives and being thankful for the things we have. Gratitude is pausing to notice and appreciate the things that we often take for granted, like having a place to live, food, clean water, friends, family, even computer access. Why is gratitude so powerful you may ask ? In positive psychology research, gratitude is strongly and consistently associated with greater happiness. Gratitude helps people feel more positive emotions, relish good experiences, improve their health, deal with adversity, and build strong relationships. 3 Ways To Practice Gratitude Are - Notice good things, look for them, appreciate them. Savor, absorb, and really pay attention to those good things. Express your gratitude to yourself, write it down, or thank someone. Expressing gratitude is more than courtesy, manners, or being polite. It's about showing your heartfelt appreciation. When you thank someone, you're also practicing the first two gratitude skills: you've noticed something good, and you've genuinely appreciated it ❤️ We hope to inspire and educate listeners and supporters through our open conversations of experience to practice expressing Gratitude themselves.
