Hey friends! This week we're talking about Malinda Lo's A Scatter Of Light, which is a companion novel to Last Night At The Telegraph Club. This book takes place almost 60 years after the events of Last Night At The Telegraph Club, and we even get a glimpse into what Lily and Kath are up to ! But, this story takes place during the summer of 2013, which was the year that the Supreme Court legalized Gay Marriage. We follow Aria Tang West, a recent highschool graduate who was banished from her original summer plans with her friends on Martha's Vineyard after nudes (that she didn't consent to have taken) were leaked on tumblr making her parents decide she needs to spend time away from her group of friends, and instead with her Grandmother, a renowned artist named Joan West.
