The urgent care provider almost sent me home with no medications. So before I left I asked him "what about my diabetes?" He didn't even realize I had it because he somehow missed it on my chart. Shit happens. But this reminded me how important it for everyone to always advocate for yourself and ask questions. Doctors make mistakes so don't assume they always know your full picture.
