EP# 112 Adams Family Returns

Making art at this time on the planet and in this country is more important than ever.  The pressure is mounting and the disconnection continues and you could allow your self to be lead by others people's thoughts and the din of social media, the cultural malaise OR you could GET DOWN AND MAKE ART, MAKE FILMS, MAKE MUSIC! That is a mantra of our guests, (another long awaited PART 2) as they have been guests on NIK POD before…The Adams Family Returns to the No, I Know Podcast!  Who is the Adam's Family? John Adams, Toby Poser, and their daughters, Lulu and Zelda (collectively celebrated as Adams Family Films) are a film making family under the creative marquee of Wonder Wheel Productions. They have collaborated on six features: HELLBENDER, which premiered at Fantasia Film Festival and was acquired by Shudder/AMC Networks through Yellow Veil Pictures for an early 2022 release); The Deeper You Dig (2020), which also premiered at Fantasia and is distributed by Dark Sky Films and Arrow Video; Their other films: Halfway to Zen (2016); The Shoot (2014); Knuckle Jack (2013); and Rumblestrips (2012) - all earning a hearty reception on the international festival circuit, including Best in Show and Audience awards.  For each they've employed the same DIY ethic: they write, direct, produce; they shoot, edit, act, and compose.  Music in this Episode: "Drive" Written and Performed by The Adams Family and "I Remember You" (Lyrics written by Vincent Bryan and Music By Harry Von Tilzer ) performed and produced by James Harrell and Ilyana Kadushin for the soundtrack of "Deeper You Dig" by Adams Family.
