Ep# 112: [Pep Talk] Time Freedom Isn't Free

When I broke into entrepreneurship, I was excited about a lot of things, but I was most excited about the idea of time freedom. I was so sick of my schedule being dictated by someone else and living for the weekends. So time freedom was one of (if not the) biggest motivator for starting my business and becoming an entrepreneur. And that was my first mistake. Entrepreneurship does not equal freedom. There is a massive difference between freedom and flexibility. Just because you left your job doesn’t mean you have freedom. Your schedule is flexible, and that’s great, but you aren’t free. You’re still stuck in the same problem: if you aren’t working, you aren’t earning. Time freedom comes at a price, a price that a lot of entrepreneurs are either unwilling to pay OR are actually unaware that they could pay this price to earn time freedom.
