As a kid, I thought I'd make a great veterinarian like my dad. But I came to see the beautiful mess of joy and heartache among my fellow humans as the place where I wanted to invest my compassion. From a South Dakota farm boy with plenty of siblings to Leukemia survivor to medical school, ONMM residency and beyond, I'm excited to take on a new adventure of "podcaster" as a life long learner and ONMM enthusiast.
