Conversation 112:  The Story, Journey and Passion of Zach Cordell, RDN “Teaching gives me the opportunity to talk to somebody 2 times a week for 4 months and really give them a basis in nutrition rather than trying to chase after them every couple of weeks to make sure they are coming back. I love being able to be with these students at a place where they’re leaving their home, making their own food choices and getting ready to decide who they are going to be in terms of health.” Zach Cordell, RDN. Today’s conversation is with Zach Cordell, a registered dietitian, professor, podcast host of The Latter-Day Saint Nutritionist and a brand new author. There are dietitians who are passionate about nutrition and then there is Zach Cordell. This conversation with Zach was very special because he is very special. Zach has always had a passion for teaching and comes from a long line of teachers, including his wife. During his work as a missionary, he realized through the personal connections made along the way, how important food, nutrition and health is and decided to teach by becoming a Registered Dietitian.
