from Pray Plan Slay Podcast · host Pray Plan Slay Podcast

This week we are talking about bringing your health into alignment with all God created it to be with Sersie Blue and Gigi Carter. Sersie Blue and Gigi Carter created Daniel Fast: A Bridge to Healthy Living, a program birthed during the pandemic to address the impact of comorbidities and the disproportionate number of COVID-19 deaths in the Black community. Together they authored A Prayer for Your Health Journal, a 4-week journal combining faith and whole food plant based nutrition; launched the eat better, not less recipe website, Daniel's Plate; and created the Healthy for My Purpose Podcast. About Sersie Sersie is a health coach, speaker, author, founder of The Faithful Vegan, and host of Eat Your Best Life Podcast. After health issues during her second pregnancy, followed by personal tragedy, Sersie decided to participate in a one-month Daniel Fast. Combining prayer with a whole-food, plant-based diet, Sersie found her life transformed. Today she is passionate about helping women make meaningful connections between faith and healthy living. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of Windsor and a Master's of Divinity in Counseling from Tyndale College. She also completed the health coach program from Wellcoaches at the University of North Florida. Sersie resides in Georgia with her family.
