Kat D and I are happy to ring in the New Year with a themed slasher - New Year's Evil (1980)Diane, or stage-name Blaze, is a disc-jockey for rock 'n roll radio and tonight she'll be hosting a New Year's marathon. As midnight sweeps across America she and her mosh pit of fans ring in each time zone's new year with rock music and a bad girl attitude. But behind the stage there's something insidious afoot. A killer is on the loose and taunting Diane as he promises to kill someone at each of the New Year's celebrations, culminating at her studio where he plans to kill someone she loves. The clock is ticking.
