It is far from simply being a show about fighting a triad war, it has lots of comedic and heartfelt moments. At its core, it is a story about loyalty and family both born into and chosen. My co-host Katie and I got to spend our lunch hour with two of the stars of the show, Jon Xue Zhang who plays Blood Boots, and Alice Hewkin who plays twin sisters May and June.  Both Alice and Jon called in from England where they live.  They are both so kind, funny, and insightful.  We honestly could have talked to them until the wee hours of the night (London time).
