Ep. 114 - Dr. Steven Gundry

from Small Changes Big Shifts · host Dr. Michelle Robin

One of the best things you can do for your health is to get a dog. Can you imagine a doctor writing you a prescription telling you to go visit an animal shelter or adopt a rescue dog? Dr. Steven Gundry, Cardiologist and Heart Surgeon, tells this to his patients quite often as he is a firm believer that by taking care of a dog; you will then take care of yourself.  Dr. Gundry is known worldwide for his work as a Cardiologist but these days he is helping people improve and change their health through diet and a healthy lifestyle. In 2001, Dr. Gundry met with a patient who forever changed the course of his career as he taught him that most of what the everyday person eats is actually toxic to their body and health. Now, Dr. Gundry is helping patients treat their autoimmune diseases, reverse the effects, control their weight and restore energy - all through their diet.
