It's not a whole lot different from today's prices! 1937 ad for Treet blades or 1941 Gillette - 4 blades for 10 cents ($1.65 in 2015) or $0.41 per blade How about a deal on 1943 Berkley's? 18 for 25 cents ($3.44 in 2015) or $0.19 per blade 1949 Persona ad, 20 blades for $1 ($9.99 in 2015) or $0.50 per blade. Now the shock! I converted this for the PER CARTRIDGE !!! $0.08 to make the cartridge,  $0.03 for the packaging, $0.48 taxes (government gets their cut!), $0.73 for the store, $2.40 for Gillette     PS. You don't need to suffer when you camp!
