He grew up in Israel and lived in Turkey for 20 years where he was deeply inspired by the rich cultural mix in Istanbul. He now lives in Sweden where I am interviewing him. Beautiful music is his trademark. His father was a huge musical influence in his life and was the author of a famous book on Arabic Maqams.
