Ep #117 Transformational Prayer

How do you respond when God's plans don't make sense? In his previous message, Embracing God's Plans, John Grams introduced us to the prophet Habakkuk, a man who struggled to understand why God seemed to allow evil to flourish. Like many of us, Habakkuk brought his questions honestly before the Lord. Now, in the final chapter of the book, we witness an incredible transformation. Habakkuk's circumstances have not changed...but his heart has. What made the difference? Prayer. As we journey through Habakkuk 3, we will discover how genuine prayer can move us from confusion to confidence, from fear to faith, and from questioning God's plans to trusting His character. Join us as we uncover the life changing truths found in "Transformational Prayer." Our building was originally constructed in 1861 and is the oldest protestant church building in continuous use in our county. Many people have come and gone throughout the generations, but our goal will always remain: To Serve Jesus only, and learn from His Living Word, the Scriptures. Our small church body are all admittedly sinners, that openly strive to improve our walk daily, but also understand that we are Redeemed by the shed blood of Christ Jesus and declared innocent in God’s eyes due to Grace Alone! There is no act of baptism, charity or observation of communion that deems us worthy. No amount of following the law of Moses, or the ever-popular observation of legalism in many churches today that will save us. That is us believing in ourselves, rather than what Christ did for us completely. If you struggle with understanding the concept of salvation or are plagued by false teachings of following traditions rather than Christ alone, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We would love to help! Please watch our archive of messages on a variety of topics. Please like and share our content with others that can benefit from what God has inspired our array of speakers to bring to the body. Most importantly, be sure you are secure in your relationship with God and Christ Jesus. It is so simple. Do not wait.
