Chances are you have seen a movie or heard a song that utilizes a synthesizer. From rock bands like The Who and Rush, to creating the classic sounds of R2D2, synthesizers have played a major role in creating the sounds of pop culture. Our guest today is Lance Hill, curator of the Vintage Synthesizer Museum in Emeryville. This is not your average museum however. His massive collection of synthesizers are all live and able to be rented out to artists looking to add that special sound to their tracks.
