from Radio Menea Hosted by Verónica Bayetti Flores and Miriam Zoila Pérez
Who is on this earth is better equipped to turn human suffering into beauty but artists? Today we launch our cuarentena series, compartiendo con artistas sobre cómo estan bregando con esta situación, how they’re staying creative, and what’s inspiring them. We are excited to be kicking it off with an interview with Raquel Berrios, one half of Buscabulla, whose stunning new album Regresa is out today. We talk about addressing diasporic longing and colonialism, all the beautiful new songs, their decision to move back to Puerto Rico, and all the ways la cuarentena have forced them to be creative in brand new ways. Featuring music by Buscabulla and Jose Feliciano. Show notes: https://bit.ly/2Wf6HCP Follow us: instagram.com/RadioMenea twitter.com/RadioMenea facebook.com/RadioMenea tinyletter.com/RadioMenea
