Ep. 118 - One Year. One Wild Ride. And 3 Things I Have to Tell You.

from Thrive Through Cancer · host Season Johnson

After a year-long break, the Thrive Through and Beyond Cancer podcast is back with a fresh start, and I couldn't be more excited to welcome you! In this episode, I share a deeply personal journey. After losing what we thought was our forever home, my family took a leap of faith, buying one-way tickets to Mexico. What started as a temporary pit stop turned into a life-changing experience. We found healing, community, and joy in a beautiful, humbling place that gave us a new perspective on life. I also talk about the incredible legacy of Kim Schuette, founder of Biodynamic Wellness. Kim guided me through some of our family's toughest moments — from our daughter's adoption to my son's cancer recovery. Now, as the new owners of her practice, I am honored to continue her work. On April 1st, 2025, Biodynamic Wellness officially became ours, and we're ready to continue her legacy in a powerful new way. Finally, I discuss some concerning trends I'm seeing in my practice: mycotoxin exposure in cancer patients, active gut infections in remission, and persistent metabolic dysfunction. These are important issues we can't afford to ignore on the road to healing.
