EP 119: Mind Your Motherhood

from Gather Moms · host Kate Henderson, Rebecca Bradford

We’re kicking off a new season here on the Gather Moms Podcast where we are going to talk about how we can stop looking around at everyone else’s motherhood and give our best to what God has placed in front of us. TRUTH: 1 Thessalonians 4:9-12 9 Now concerning brotherly love you have no need for anyone to write to you, for you yourselves have been taught by God to love one another, 10 for that indeed is what you are doing to all the brothers throughout Macedonia. But we urge you, brothers, to do this more and more, 11 and to aspire to live quietly, and to mind your own affairs, and to work with your hands, as we instructed you, 12 so that you may walk properly before outsiders and be dependent on no one. Hebrews 12:1-2 Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. Whatever part of the race you’re in, we want to help you run well. With that in mind, here’s what we’ll talk about in upcoming episodes: what that season is like what to expect what to embrace -hat to let go how to support a mom in this season Support Us: Monthly Donation | One-Time Donation Connect with Us: Gather Moms: Instagram | Twitter | Facebook Kate Henderson: Instagram | Facebook Rebecca Bradford: Instagram | Facebook
