This organization was pivotal in spreading morale breaking propaganda to the Axis powers during the war and innovating the GLADIO "leave behind forces" techniques that would become the C.I.A.'s signature move throughout the 20th century and today. We also examine their role in spreading some of the more salacious rumors of German war crimes that are now considered by mainstream historians to be false.
