Welcome back! This is Episode 12 of I’m Not Mad … I’m Pissed! 2021 has gotten off to a roaring start. New Congress, Who This? Even though there is nothing but drama on Capitol Hill, we’re starting off the new year by celebrating the good news coming out of Georgia. By winning BOTH Senate Run-Off Elections, the Democrats will officially have control of both the House and Senate when Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are sworn in on January 20th. You know what that means? NO MORE MITCH! While he may not technically be politically dead, being the minority leader is a far cry from being the majority leader and holding up every bill Democrats pass in the House. No more Bill Blocking. The other big news of the week forced me to pivot mid-prep of my show and instead of talking about the Electoral College Certification, we have to address why America continues to be TRASH. This country cannot have nice things. Let me tell you why. RACISM. Not letting our first episode end on a sour note, we show love and give flowers to Stacey Abrams and the other black women of Georgia that led the charge in turning that state Blue.
