Katasha Butler, MBA, PharmD is a licensed Doctor of Pharmacy with 17 years of leadership experience. She has extensive experience in indirect and direct patient care with proven team building skills. An administrator with an inherent understanding of people and a genuine caring attitude, Dr. Butler has thorough knowledge of managed Medicaid, Medicare D, NCQA, TJC and OIG, in addition to State and Federal regulations. She possesses the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all organizational levels. She has demonstrated skills at identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to improve operational efficiency and productivity. Additionally, Dr. Butler has a vested interest in diversity and inclusion in the healthcare sector. Current, unrestricted license in Indiana. During her tenure at the VA, Dr. Butler was recognized for her leadership and impact, including completion of the highly-competitive, national Health Care Leadership Development Program and graduation from the VISN 12 Leadership Development Program and Vermilion Advantage Class 26 Leadership Program. She also received the 2014 Director’s EEO Award, the 2014 VISN 11 Diversity Award, two Special Contribution Awards and numerous other recognitions. Dr. Butler served as the Chair of the Diversity and Inclusion for the VAMC, fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce.
