Ep. 12- We are all going through it.... (reading SRG dilemmas)

Salam friends! This week we introduced a new segment which includes reading dilemmas and providing advice. In this episode, we talk about a post made by Shaderoom Gambia. We discuss the importance of mental health and the challenges faced by individuals in the Gambian community when it comes to seeking support. We highlight the stigma surrounding mental health and the lack of understanding within the community along with our suggestions for finding a safe space to unload. As always, we emphasize the importance of turning to Allah and making dua for guidance and support. Finally, our conversation explores the lack of honesty and accountability in relationships, both friendships and familial ties as well as the importance of setting expectations and fulfilling responsibilities towards one another.
