Welcome, Kathi Chase, to In-Focus Podcast Number 121. Kathi is a Fairhaven-based, self-taught artist working primarily in acrylic paints. She has an associate's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science. Kathi Chase has worked in the medical field for over 20 years. At a young age, Kathi started drawing cartoon characters by copying movie covers. Over the years it evolved as she picked up new skills in school art classes. As a young adult, she took an evening oil painting class at Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School.
