It’s time to stop judging ourselves and normalize the struggles.
When the world experienced quarantining & social distancing, our mental health became a more acceptable topic to discuss. There were silver linings during that time, but there were also days it may have felt more like surviving not thriving. Now that we are all learning to deal with the aftermath of a global pandemic, it’s even more important to acknowledge the seasons of struggle and find ways to get to the other side of it.
I’ve learned to manage expectations of what a good life looks like. It won’t be perfect. I thank God for the tough times so I can appreciate the good ones even more.
