EP 122: Azores- Linda Branca, Peter of the Pigs (Elsie Spicer Eells 1922)

In the first story, Linda Branca is hounded nightly by suitors. She has such a tough life because she is so beautiful. One day, she sees an ugly woman and wishes to be as ugly as her. The woman turns out to be an artist and makes an ugly mask for Linda Branca. After going to work for the prince, Linda finds out that it is easier to be beautiful after all. Stay beautiful! and in the second story, a boy named Peter sells his master's pigs. He tricks the master into also giving up his two bags of money with the help of a misunderstanding between the master and the mistress. But finally, Peter comes across someone smarter than him, and loses everything. Enjoy!
