Ep. 122 - SBS - Apologetics: Defense of the Faith - Lesson 5: How Would a Scientist Look at the Evidence?
from St. Peter's Helenville · host Pastor Titus
This is the fifth of six lessons in this Sunday Bible StudyThis conversation delves into what science is, a study of information that makes conclusions that best fit the data. Often science is talked about as being directly opposed to religion or faith, but this is not true. In fact, the Christian Church has been a huge advocate of science throughout history. The problem arises when we get to things that go beyond our data and we are called to make conclusions or guesses on things we don't know. This then requires faith regardless, faith in the scientist or faith in the source documents. Who you believe and what you believe then becomes a universal question for the scientist and the Christian.
