Ep #123 - Mickey D and Chris Franklin - Using comedy to raise money for charity!

The Kangaroo Island (KI) Recovery Comedy Gala Event is a fantastic event that has been organised to raise money for the bushfire victims from the horrific 2020 bushfires which devastated KI and the Adelaide Hills. The event is taking place on Saturday 13th of February at the Adelaide Irish Club. I was very lucky to chat to a couple of the comedians that will be performing on the night, Adelaide’s favourite comedian Mickey D and good mate Chris Franklin who is famous for his song ‘Bloke' and his latest very catchy yet appropriate song, ‘Stay the F..k at Home’ which he wrote last year with some very special guests. Chris and Mickey told some great stories about their friendship and performing together, Mickey’s experience on being involved in the SAS Who Dares Wins UK television show, what to look forward to regarding the event, their respective footy careers and Mickey’s new personal training business, Adventure Ready Go.
