Todd VanMeter has 38 years of experience in the real estate industry.  He was formerly a licensed real estate agent before becoming CEO of VanMeter Construction, Inc. in 1991 and VanMeter Properties in 1994. Todd served as the President of the Homebuilders Association-Hall County in 1998-99 and served on the HBA-Hall County board of directors for 6 years.Todd earned a BBA in Real Estate from the University of Georgia.  He is a long term member of Georgia Real Estate Investors Association and has served as Group Leader for GAREIA-Gainesville area since its inception. Blue Hat Wealth was founded when I sold a portfolio of homes and deferred all the capital gains taxes.  Everyone kept asking me “how?” I spent over 30 years in the real estate industry as a home builder, investor & property manager. While I am ready for a different season of my career, I am not ready to retire.  I didn’t want to lose my equity to taxes when I changed my career objectives.  I discovered strategies that work to delay taxes and I want other business owners to have access to these strategies too.
