Jeff Garmire is a highly accomplished backpacker. At just 32 years old, and during the recording of this podcast, he holds the Colorado Trail FKT (fastest-known time), has the speed record for climbing Costa Rica's tallest Mountain: Cerro Chirripo, and has completed the Calendar Year Triple Crown (AT, PCT, CDT in one year). His trail name is "Legend"; needless to say, it's a name that fits.
