Praising your children is just as important as correcting and disciplining them. Effective biblical praise is so important for children. Parents are called by God to discipline their children and praise, presence and words are some techniques to use for discipline. Praising is so encouraging when children are obedient and have completed great accomplishments. Our words are important to build up our children rather than tear them down (Eph. 4:29). How we use our words are critical in our marriages and in our parenting. Finally, the presence of parent can also reset disobedience to obedience. Effective praise. Effective Words. Effective discipline.
