Welcome back! This is Episode 13 of I’m Not Mad … I’m Pissed! Inauguration 2021! Donald Trump is no longer President of the United States. As happy as I am for Joe Biden, I’m MORE happy about the fact that he is no longer our president. I have waited for this day for four long years. Seriously. I am not exaggerating. It was a dark day when Donald Trump was sworn in and he didn’t take long to be the trash president I always thought he was going to be. But It’s A New Day! I’ve opened my eyes and the path is clearer! (Shout out to Patti Labelle) I give a pretty deep dive into the inauguration, what it means for us as a country, what it means for me personally and what I am looking forward to most from the Biden Administration. There is a lot of work to be done and so far, they are off to a fast start. However, the world won’t be changed by Executive Order alone. Biden will have to work with Congress to really tackle the issues we are facing as a nation, but thankfully he has the experience to do so and a pretty bad-ass number 2 by his side. Expectations are high! Oh, and we are giving flowers to Ms. Amanda Gorman’s, whose poem gave voice to the feelings of a nation! Stand up and take a bow young Queen. Oh, and Ted Cruz is still trash!
