Sydney works as the Programming Coordinator for the Department of Arts, Culture and Media at the University of Toronto Scarborough. Past work experience was with festivals in Toronto and abroad, such as National Canadian Film Day, the Edinburgh Fringe, and 150 Neighbours at UTSC. Sydney graduated with a Masters in Festival and Event Management from Edinburgh Napier, where she is interested in cultural pluralism in the context of cultural festivals. She has started up her own artist management service, Porchfront Collective.
