Ep. 13 Hyatt Regency Walkway Collapse

The Hyatt Regency Walkway Collapse was one of the deadliest structural failures at the time. With nearly 1600 people in attendance during a Tea Dance, the unthinkable happened. Two walkways that were suspended from the ceiling broke from their anchors, crashed into the atrium and killed 114 people. I go into detail about the build of the hotel to speaking the names of all that were killed during this tragedy.
