Ep. 13 - Intuition as Practical Magic
from Ember ’n Echo · host Ember 'n Echo | Hayley Kearney
Episode 13: Intuition — Is It Practical Magic? Can a coffee date turn into a mechanic's bill? Can flow feel like flying through a mountainside? In this episode, we're getting into intuition, and whether it's practical magic or just paying attention (maybe both?!). We start with a solo coffee date that somehow ended in car repairs, and what that says about following the nudge even when it doesn't make logical sense. From there we get into flow states, that strange, expansive feeling of moving through the world like the road is opening up for you. We also talk about joy. Not the performative kind, the kind that actually lives in your body. Joy can feel overwhelming if you haven't practised holding it, which is its own kind of work. As Gang of Youths remind us, the heart is a muscle, and it takes training to make it strong. This is Science. Holding. Flow. in practice, and it's the same intuition I lean on in every Reiki session. Intuition isn't separate from energy work. It's how I read the energy in a room, in a body, in a Distance Reiki session across the miles. Learning to trust that pull is part of what Reiki teaches you, whether you're the one giving it or receiving it. If this episode has you curious about your own intuition and how energy moves through you, a Reiki session is a beautiful place to explore it. Whether you're in Calgary or joining me for Distance Reiki from anywhere, this is energy work that meets you where you are. Tending the ember, honouring the echo. Ready to explore your own energy? Book a Reiki or Distance Reiki session with Ember 'n Echo in Calgary, and start learning the language your intuition's already speaking.
